As you have probably read in the local and national Press and seen on the Local News, the War memorial at the Royal British Legion, Pennings Road in Tidworth, Wiltshire has been stolen by metal thieves.
The solid bronze statue has been used as the focus of remembrance activities since it was installed in 1998.

Baz Reilly spoke to Ann Green, Club Secretary about the theft as well as getting comments from local users of the Royal Briish Legion Club and an update from Sgt. Mark Freeman from Wiltshire Police.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the statue to contact Acting Sergeant Andy Willcox on 101.
