Castledown Radio recently attended the Wellington Academy Sports and Performance Evening on Wednesday 22nd June 2011.
With over 450 students and parents in attendence, the event was held in the Sports Hall which had been redecorated with tables, balloons, lighting and 2 big screens to host the Presentation evening, designed to celebrate the successes of students.
With over 300 hundred trophies and awards presented including team and individual awards, outstanding performances, commitment to sport and Sport Personality of the Year awards, the evening was hailed as a huge success and a "fantastic celebration of the dedication, hard work and commitment of every single student at the Academy"
