Ludgershall recently joined in with the Royal British Legion 90th anniversary, with a celebration in the recently upgraded Memorial Hall. Organised by the Memorial Hall Committee, the event included the Ludgershall Garden Club and the Royal Engineers 26 regiment amongst it's supporters, as well as a wide selection of other stallholders and some very nice tea and coffee.

At 11am Reverend Malcolm Freeman, Rector of St James Church in Ludgershall and Holy Trinity in Tidworth, led the celebrations with prayers and a minutes silence whilst the ribbon was cut on the new plaque which has been placed inside the Memorial Hall reception area.
Listen to Maureen and Peter Rugg talking about the event, veteran Tommy Humphries gives us a run down of his life in the services, and Reverend Malcolm Freeman's speech and prayer for the fallen.
