As you may have previously heard on Castledown Radio and seen in the local news, there is talk of a proposed Waste Transfer Station being built near the Castledown Business Park site by Hills.
This has become a very hot local topic to such an extent that there is an extra-ordinary meeting of the Tidworth Area Board being held on 6th June in the Memorial Hall, Ludgershall.
This is a one item meeting, the proposed waste transfer station at Castledown Business Park.
Hills are also holding a public exhibition in the hall from 2 PM until 6.30 PM.
The Tidworth Area Board Meeting starts at 7 PM and is a a chance for local people see the plans and to make their comments known to help influence the plans or try to stop them if they are against them.
Castledown Radio talked to two of the organisers of a local Action Group to find out why this is such a contraversial issue.
