Castledown Radio

Wiltshire Council are currently working on a core strategy campaign for the whole of the Wiltshire area, including the Tidworth Community Area. A presentation was held recently in the Ludgershall Memorial Hall, and Castledown Radio's John Sparrow went along to find out what proposals there are for the local area, including job creation, new housing proposals and additional transport.

One area of contention between local residents and Wiltshire Council is the siting of a waste transfer depot on the Castledown Business Park, this has prompted residents to set up their own campaign group to fight the waste proposal. The No 2 Waste group have written a standard letter that you can either complete and send in or use to write your own letter. This letter has been distributed in the local area by volunteers, and must be completed and returned by August 8th.
