People looking for a truly life-changing New Year’s Resolution are being urged to become foster carers with Wiltshire Council.

The appeal comes as many people reflect on the changes they want to make in their lives. Support is available 24-hours a day, and people can be single carers, married or in a relationship. Placements can be anything from a few days, months or years or until the child becomes an adult. Foster carers receive a generous fostering allowance to ensure finances aren’t a barrier.

Anyone interested in becoming a foster carer should contact the Wiltshire Council fostering team on 0800 1696 321 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
