Two meetings, which will decide the future of subsidised denominational school transport in Wiltshire, are taking place this month. A rapid scrutiny meeting will start at 6.30pm on Thursday September 8, in the Council Chamber at Monkton Park, Chippenham.

This was requested by the council's Children's Services Select Committee, which is in place to consider and make recommendations on services for children and young people in Wiltshire.

The meeting is taking place in the evening to make it easier for members of the public to attend.

The scrutiny group will consider the evidence provided and, if appropriate, make recommendations to cabinet. The agenda for the rapid scrutiny meeting will be published on the council's website - www.wiltshire.gov.uk.
