Teenagers and young adults across Wiltshire are to benefit from a new sports programme which will see them completing sports courses over four years.
As part of the Places People Play mass participation legacy programme, Sportivate will give teenagers across England the opportunity to take part in a number of sporting activities including football, netball, rugby and the not so traditional lacrosse, zumba, archery and mountain biking.
The programme is being delivered by Wiltshire and Swindon Activity & Sports Partnership with local sports providers, and with thanks to £350,000 of Lottery investment in Wiltshire and Swindon over the next four years. It aims to provide young people between the ages of 14 and 25 with six to eight great value sessions in a sport of their choice.
