Castledown Radio was chosen by the BBC to help support the Digital Switchover Help Scheme, which brings face to face support, installations, equipment, in-home assistance and aftercare service to eligible people who may need help to make the switch to digital TV when it comes to our area next year.
As part of the Help Scheme Project, Castledown Radio presenter John Sparrow spoke to Kathy Caton, the Assistant Regional Manager for the Digital Switchover help scheme. They discussed many aspects of the scheme, including who is eligible, what the scheme offers, do you need a new tv or aerial, and when the changeover will happen in our region.
