Castledown Radio will be transmitting a radio play, called "Two-Sided Triangle", this Friday, 7th October at 6pm, repeated on Saturday 8th October at 12 noon.

Recorded in the new Talks studio at Castledown Radio, the play, written by local playwright Peter Redmond, is voiced by Helen Batterby as Vera J Kimberley, the seventy-five year old widow of William Kimberley, and Laura Howard as the twenty-five year old former mistress of the late Mr Kimberley. Both actresses are members of the Bellinger Players.

The action takes place in Mrs Kimberley's sparsely furnished flat where, apart from her wine making equipment and CD player, her worldly goods have been packed in suitcases as she prepares to move into sheltered accommodation. She has a non-speaking budgerigar called Joey with which she has one-sided conversations.

So why not tune in to 104.7FM this Friday at 6pm or Saturday at 12 noon, or listen via this website by clicking on "listen live".

The Bellinger Players are in need of new volunteer actors and actresses and new members to help behind the scenes. If you are interested please give Helen Batterby a call on 01980 846341.
