We are delighted to announce that Castledown Radio has been voted as a category winner in the first ever 'Voluntary and Community Sector Awards', held in Wiltshire.  Nominated in the "Most Inclusive Approach" catagory alongside, 'The Abberd Brook Trust 'and 'Dreams and Wishes', our approach to inclusiveness across the community was recognized with the award.

Station Manager Baz Reilly went along to the ceremony held in Devizes, and was asked to receive the award.. Baz commented, "We were nominated alongside two other very worthy projects, and we feel very excited that our approach to the community as a whole has been recognized in this way. Teaching anyone from youngsters at primary school to senior members of our community to go on-air as radio presenters is our aim and we are delighted to be recognised with this reward"

Organised by Wiltshire Council and NHS Wiltshire, the awards celebrated the excellent voluntary and community sector we have in our county.
