It's panto season and if you have not been able to see a pantomime yet why not listen to our special recording of "Mother Goose", which will be on air on Castledown Radio this weekend. Written by local playwright Sue Williams with parts played by the Bellinger Players, the panto includes all the traditional characters that you would expect to have in a pantomime, including the evil villain Malcolm Malevolent and the good fairy Betsy, as well as Mother Goose and her family.
The panto can be heard on Castledown Radio on 104.7FM or by listening on the internet via www.castledownradio.info. It will be transmitted at 6pm on Friday, 22nd January, with a repeated performance at 3pm on Saturday, 23rd.
You can also see the Bellinger Players on stage in Shipton Bellinger later this month with their 2010 panto, Calamity Jane.

The picture shows the cast and crew from the Bellinger Players at the recording, which took place in December. The author, Sue Williams, is on the left.
