Zouch Primary School’s ‘Eco-Warriors’ Lead The Way!

Pupils took a walk around their neighbourhood in Tidworth and decided they were not impressed with what they saw – rubbish all over the ground.

These general feelings of frustration amongst the young people, tied in with a feature on the build-up of rubbish in the local newspaper, spurred them on to produce an assembly all about the importance of recycling.

Under the guidance of teachers Nicola Williams and Polly Hutchinson the children presented a wonderful play as part of their assembly that focused on two families, ‘The Glums’ and ‘The Greens’.

The assembly wasn’t the only feature of the day though. Many posters, models and other crafts were on display – all created by the children to further drive their message home.
