The Development Trusts Association (DTA) were approached by an organisation based in London, which has close links with Japan, to arrange a visit to a rural community that could demonstrate a good example of community work in progress.
Steve Lawton, Chief Executive, Tidworth Development Trust (TDT) said: “It’s an honour to be selected for this special visit. We have a lot to be proud of and the work in our area is a good example to show Japanese researchers how community groups can work well in the UK.”
