Top Japanese Researchers Visit Castledown Radio PDF Print E-mail
A team of top Japanese researchers have been in Tidworth, looking at how rural communities in the UK shape their own future through various initiatives and projects.

The Development Trusts Association (DTA) were approached by an organisation based in London, which has close links with Japan, to arrange a visit to a rural community that could demonstrate a good example of community work in progress.

Steve Lawton, Chief Executive, Tidworth Development Trust (TDT) said: “It’s an honour to be selected for this special visit. We have a lot to be proud of and the work in our area is a good example to show Japanese researchers how community groups can work well in the UK.”
