Castledown Radio's Baz Reilly is no stranger to providing broadcast training to people in the local community, but this week Baz greeted a special visitor from Kenya.
Twenty year-old Loise Klambugu is from Nyeri in central Kenya and is currently in the UK in a bid to join the British Army.
After spending the morning with Castledown Radio staff, Loise donned earphones and had a go at being a DJ, something she had not ever dreamed of doing back in Kenya. She said: “I have had the most enjoyable day and I will never forget it. I am hungry to learn and the time here at the radio station has given me so much pleasure.”
Louis would like to become a Medic in the British Army and awaits a final interview in which she hopes to persuade MOD recruitment officers to enlist her. To read more click here
