Molly Clarke DJ'ing at Castledown Radio

Hi! I’m Molly Clarke, I am 15 years old and go to Rookwood School in Andover. I can be very chatty! I know this because that’s what I’m always getting told off for!!  When I’m older I would like to work on the radio or become an actress.

I went to Castledown Radio for my work experience week. I chose it because I had no experience of working at a radio station and wanted to get an insight of what it was like if I was going to pursue it as a career.

Throughout my week I learnt how to edit music and produce radio programmes. I helped with the top 20 chart show and pre-recorded my own, which was so much fun and definitely my favourite.  I learnt how to do multi track editing and also edited an interview with Castledown School’s history club, if you would like to listen to the interview then click the link below.

If anyone is thinking of doing work experience here, I would definitely recommend it as I had so much fun and I am really glad that I had the opportunity.  I am gutted that I have to go back to school.
