'Race for Life',  is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event. It took place for the first time last year, attracting over 665,000 women to walk, jog or run 5k and raised £40 million for Cancer Research UK - the world’s leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research.

Local Resident and Castledown Radio volunteer Becka Pitts, came in and spoke to Baz Reilly all about her involvement with 'Race For Life'. She is just one of the many hundreds of thousands of women taking part in the UK.
