Castledown Radio FM held a conference recently as part of a Cooperation Project with other Community Radio Stations - one in the New Forest and a second based in Greece covering Athens and Thessaloniki.

Delegates from many organisations attended the conference

The project, funded by EU money, included organising a Conference for Community and Hospital Radio stations from as far away as Bournemouth, Gloucester, Southampton and Glastonbury.

The date was picked to coincide with a return visit of the Greek radio station, Community Voice based in Athens and Thessaloniki. Apart from presentations from three of the Radio Stations in attendance, we had very interesting and thought-provoking presentations by Lawrie Hallet from Ofcom, Jaqui Devereux from the Community Media Association and Tony Worgan from BBC Wiltshire.
