What is a "Graveyard Jam", you might well ask yourself? Must be to early yet for a Halloween disco? Eager to discovery just what was going on, we set of to The Depot in Andover to find out.

Organised by local lad Kevin Potter and friends, the Graveyard Jam turned out to be an Inline Skating competition organised to raise funds for the Ludgershall Skatepark, with prizes throughout the day sponsored by Loco Skates and Proline Skates.

During the day there were many thrills and spills, and the competition was very close, with the voting carried out by the spectators. Winners included Terry Potter, Stevie King and Macauley Hollis for the best Inline Crew, and organiser Kevin won the award for best over 16's "stack", ie falling over, and Stevie King won the under 16's "best trick of the day".

After organising a great event for the young people to take part in, the organisers had raised £66.00 to give to the Ludgershall Skatepark Committee, to add to the funds already raised by various fundays and carwashes.

The skatepark was full of young people on skateboards, BMX bikes and scooters, but the competition was mainly for inline skaters, as explained by Kevin in his interview with John McConnell.
