Two staff and two volunteers from Castledown Radio 104.7 FM have just returned from a five day trip (two days travelling) to Community Voice Radio, Athens, learning how they use media and the radio to engage with the disadvantaged people in Athens. Read more....

Baz Reilly, Castledown Radio’s Station Manager, said “It was very interesting to see how they operated, in particular how they were dealing with the different language barriers due to a high level of immigrants in the City from lots of different countries and their work with young people.  We learnt a great deal and brought back some ideas to try out.  We look forward to seeing members of their team in September and I know from talking to them about what we do, they will learn things from us.”
