Jake Ward is a typical teenager in many ways. He goes to school, likes to play football and enjoys listening to music at the local disco. But Jake is different from other teenagers in one respect – his fantastic singing ability.

His talent has taken him through two sets of auditions and one regional final to become an entrant in the grand-final of ‘South Coast Idol’ – a wonderful achievement – as Jake is only 13!

He kindly took some time off from his school studies, popped in to Castledown Radio and told morning show presenter Rick Young all about his progress in this great event, which takes place at Portsmouth Guildhall on 26^th May 2007.
