Castledown Sports Centre was the venue for the recent Primary Schools Football Tournament, encasing teams from all the schools closest to Castledown School.

Some fierce competition and great football from the youngsters led to a dramatic climax - between two sides from the same school!

Clarendon 'A' defeated Clarendon 'B' in the final to maintain an excellent record for the school in the tournament - having won it more times over the years than any other team.

Station Manager Baz Reilly popped round to catch some of the action and spoke to Alun Williams of Castledown School.
