Roylance Mayer

Roylance Mayer is a Ludgershall man.  He writes regularly for the parish magazine and is a keen gardener.  With this in mind, it is understandable why gardening as a whole and Ludgershall allotments are two subjects that he is very passionate about.

He kindly took the time to come in and chat to us about how to get involved in having an allotment, how to maintain it and what goes into a creating a succesful patch. 

He also expressed his thoughts and concerns as to why the allotments weren't being used to their fullest and that there are more attributes to having your own allotment than you might think.
