A 14,000ft mountain....and 'Angus' the Mascot - Part Two! PDF Print E-mail

An odd combination you might think, but for Tidworth man John Black these are two things that really will come hand-in-hand this year

On May 19th, John will trek through the Peruvian Andes with many others, travelling through peaks up to 14,000 ft and ending up at the 'lost city of Maccupichu'.

But it's not just an outdoor adventure, John has agreed to undertake the tough challenge on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Relief and has so far managed to raise well in excess of the £3000 sponsorship money required. So much in fact, that he has actually increased the target to £5000!

He popped into Castledown Radio back in August 2006 to tell us all about it and recently came in again to update us on the remarkable progress he has made since.

Click below to hear all about it, how you can support John or simply wish him 'good luck'!
