We rely heavily on technology. Automated play out software is used to assist with presenter time management. What that means is, it is better to have a reporter/radio presenter on the ground talking to the local community than have him or her tied up presenting a three hour radio programme. We play local items in our regular ‘Around and About the Villages’ spot just after ½ past each hour.
