Rodney Haverson is Castledown Radio’s 'Village Voice' for the Collingbournes and Everleigh. With the help of his assistant Sam Bassinger, Rodney brings news, information and future events to look out for. No stranger to radio, Rodney started as a seagoing Radio Officer and then came ashore to become a Radio Communications Engineer - including a five year spell during the 1970s as a Communications Officer with the Botswana Police.
In the 1980s he became BBC Radio Norfolk’s ‘Dog Obedience Expert’, reporting for and helping to put together the station’s weekly ‘Dog Watch’ programme.
