After several months of hard work at the 'Cross Keys Inn', new landlord George Humphries thought it would be good and proper to celebrate the rejuvenation of the pub, by holding the 'Chute Festival Weekend'.
Scrumpy cider, real ales, live music and a family fun-day were just some of the events to make the festival a real treat for residents of the Chute villages.
Shirley and George 'roll out the barrel' Castledown Radio's Shirley Swain visited the Cross Keys and chatted to George about the festival, the entertainment that would be on and how stress, hard work and a lot of fun have helped George to lose 2st in weight!
