Castledown Radio at Wiltshire Youth Games PDF Print E-mail
Dozens of children from the Tidworth Community Area recently took part in one of the biggest sporting events for young people.

The Wiltshire Youth Games took place at Bath University and saw almost 1000 youngsters from across Wiltshire and Swindon take part in competitive sporting events, ranging from Athletics to Rugby.

Hundreds of children packed the main arena to listen to James Thie, one of Britain’s Olympic hopefuls.

He delivered a speech packed full of inspiration and encouragement and after an official warm-up by a professional fitness instructor - the children were left excited and keen to get on with the days events.
